Privacy Policy

Effective August 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Otherworld Interactive, Inc. (“Otherworld,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Otherworld website, applications, and related services (the “Service”).

Information we collect

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure accounts; generate, save, and display interactive stories; process purchases; personalize the Service; respond to support requests; detect abuse and fraud; maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service; comply with law; and enforce our agreements.

Artificial intelligence processing

Otherworld uses artificial intelligence services to generate and transform story text and images. The prompts, story context, and attachments needed to fulfill a request may be sent to service providers that process data on our behalf. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your story.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to vendors that provide authentication, cloud hosting, databases, storage, content generation, payment processing, security, and customer support; to other users when you intentionally publish or share content; when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety; and as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.

Your choices and rights

You may update certain profile information in the Service and can revoke Google account access through your Google Account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information and to appeal a denied request.

California privacy rights

California residents may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, correct inaccurate information, or delete personal information, subject to applicable exceptions. California residents also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not offer a sale or sharing opt-out. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, and we may verify the request and the agent’s authority.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

International users

Otherworld is based in the United States. If you access the Service from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
